YouTube rolls out the new video resolution setting option
Users won’t able to see the 144p, 240p, 360p, 480p, 720p, etc video resolution after the new video resolution option rollout in the app under the video quality option. The users will see the four new options Auto (recommended), Higher picture quality, Data saver, and Advanced.
Auto option automatically adjusts the video quality and gives you a better experience. The higher picture quality option uses more data to give your better video quality. The data saver option consumes less data and reduces the video quality. The advanced option allows users to select the specific video resolution.
The video resolution sets apply to the current video. For all the video users have to go to the settings option. After this go to the video quality preferences and set video quality. Users can also set the default video resolutions for both mobile data and Wi-Fi.
The new video resolution option is enabled via the server-side. There is no guarantee that you will get this resolution option on the app after update the app. Some of the users will get the option after update the app.
